Chronic Kidney Disease And Early Symptoms

The early signs of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) are very faint that many people undergoing the symptoms don’t even realize them. It may take years for the CKD to develop into a kidney failure. In some cases, it might never be converted into a failure at all.

EARLY KNOWLEDGE OF THE SYMPTOMS

It is essential for you to know the sign and symptoms of Chronic Kidney Disease. Knowledge is power. By gaining knowledge about the symptoms of such diseases, you can take necessary medication or consult your doctor when you feel it is the best time to do so. If you or anyone you know feel the signs of a Chronic Kidney Disease , then it is highly recommended to immediately take a blood or urine test so as to confirm that nothing is wrong or IF something is wrong.

SYMPTOM ONE: A DIFFERENCE IN URINATION

As we are all aware that the main function of the kidney is to produce urine. So if there is a change in the urination, it might as well be a symptom of an early CKD. If you are experiencing difficulty in urinating, or have to urinate frequently or less frequently or if the urine contains blood , it is suggested that you visit your doctor .

SYMPTOM TWO: PUFFING OF BODY PARTS

Since the extra fluid gets accumulated as the kidney is unable to remove them, it causes the swelling of certain body parts. Most commonly the swelling of feet, legs, ankles, hands or even the face occur.

SYMPTOM THREE: NAUSEA AND FATIGUE

The kidneys function to produce a protein called erythropoietin. These produce the oxygen carrying RBC’s. A kidney failure would cause the less production of these proteins. As a result, the muscles and brain would become weak causing tiredness. Also, as the wastes of the body accumulate, it leads to a sense of nausea or vomiting.

SYMPTOM FOUR: BREATHING PROBLEM AND BAD BREATH

The building up of extra fluids can gets mounted up on your lungs making it difficult for you to breath. Another factor that may cause the shortness of breath is due to the lack of oxygen-carrying RBC’s. This may cause the shortage of oxygen in your lungs, affecting you breathing mechanism.

As for the bad breath or a metallic taste in your mouth, this is also due to the collection of extra fluids in the body. As a result of this, you may lose your appetite which in turn affects your health leading to a weight loss.

Other problem that may direct to a Chronic Kidney disease includes Leg pain, a problem in concentration, dizziness, cold and skin rashes. The main cause for all such problems is nothing but the waste fluids that keep building up in your body as the kidney functions begin to deter.

A serious Chronic Disease might ultimately lead to a kidney failure and thus it is highly recommended that you visit your doctor and take up proper medication as soon as you notice any early signs of a Kidney disease.
